When Indian Sage Ramesh Balsekar was asked to sum up his teachings in one word, he paused for a moment and replied “Acceptance”.

Ramesh the elaborated on the requested one word by adding “Accepting what is in this moment”.

Such simplicity.  Acceptance of what is in this moment.  Understanding that in this moment, all is well and in perfect order.  Exactly as it is meant to be, if it wasn’t it would be different.

When I am not accepting life, circumstances, people as they are, there is suffering because I believe things should be different to how they are.

In acceptance, there is no suffering.
